Big Al Carson
Big Al Carson (born Alton Carson on 2 October 1953; died 26 April 2020) was an American blues and jazz singer from New Orleans. He performed with his band, Big Al Carson and The Blues Masters, in New Orleans, and with other bands. Big Al sang with his band "The Bluemasters" at the Funky Pirate on Bourbon Street in the French Quarter of New Orleans several nights a week. He also performed irregularly with other bands. Carson formerly played tuba in addition to singing.
